Grindleford Railway Station

Grindleford station has ramped access to both platforms and there is a cafe at ground level immediately adjacent to the station with both indoor and outdoor seating.

Parking is available on the station approach and there are proposals to have designated disabled parking next to the cafe.

A short and reasonably level walk along a track takes you to the historic pilgrimage site of Padley Chapel.

In the other direction is the village of Grindleford, which is a good walk and is steadily downhill all the way from the station approach road. There are two public houses and a few shops, including a small art gallery.
