Elton Stone Planters

The Action Group wanted to brighten up the main street with flower planting, but after looking at the commercially available planters decided that none were in keeping with the village. Using the grant they found a local quarry and stonemason to build traditional style troughs which were placed on site by a neighbouring farmer and planted by schoolchildren.
